We’re happy to be in Springfield!

When we started pet sitting 10 years ago, we were running our business at the edge of our seats. We had no clue what we were doing or that a decade later we’d still be doing it. Growing our services in Sedalia, MO has been yet another whirlwind of lessons and blessings. Part of those lessons has been how we envision Funky Bunch Pet Care looking for the next decade. For us, that means continuing service in Sedalia while also expanding services to new areas that need quality pet care in Missouri. 

With that, we’re really excited about getting the opportunity to expand to Springfield, MO! This is a very big step for us, but it’s not to an unfamiliar area. Collin grew up in Rogersville, MO and spent his time going “to town” to shop and hang out with friends. He loved picnics at Sequiota Park and visits to Dickerson Park Zoo. A local to Springfield, he’s super proud to be able to serve the area and bring his passion for pets back home. 

We are actively hiring for sitters and dog walkers for the Springfield area. Right now, we will be offering walks and drop-in services Monday through Friday, with plans to expand and add weekends. Hiring has been another set of lessons for us, as we’re new to the management position. We’ve been blown away and super encouraged by the response to our job ad, with almost 100 people having applied. We’re confident this speaks to the demand for quality pet care, and the shared passion for pets in Springfield.
