A key advantage of choosing Funky Bunch Pet Care is the use of employees in our collaborative team approach. This ensures that backup support is readily available in case one of our sitters encounters an emergency, guaranteeing uninterrupted care for your pets. During the meet and greet, one of our employees will familiarize themselves with your pet's needs and care routine.
We provide a complimentary initial meet and greet. However, if meeting all team members is important to you, you can arrange additional 30-minute introductions at a cost of $27 per session. Visits will be allocated based on employees' schedules and availability, resulting in multiple team members attending to your pets. This offers the benefit of extra vigilance and care for both your pet and home.
If consistency in having the same sitter every time is crucial, you may want to explore hiring an individual pet sitter. Just ensure they have backup support in case of emergencies.

We truly understand the importance of affordability and recognize that you may be seeking a cost-effective solution for your cat's care while you're away. However, our policy requires that cats receive at least one visit every 24 hours, and there are several reasons for this.
We once cared for a cat that got trapped behind a washing machine. Fortunately, the pet sitter's daily visit ensured the cat was promptly rescued and remained unharmed.
Cats can accidentally lock themselves in rooms without access to food and water.
Cats are sociable creatures and require companionship. They should not be left alone for extended periods without human interaction.
Cats need fresh water. Some cats may refuse to drink if the water isn't fresh, even if they have a fountain or haven't displayed this behavior before.
Cats are susceptible to kidney infections, and severe conditions can develop rapidly. Our pet sitters are trained to monitor changes in litter box usage and eating habits, which could signal serious illnesses.
We prioritize your cat's well-being. By choosing our services, you save time on transporting your cat to a kennel, ensure your cat remains in the comfort of its own home, and receive photos and written reports after every visit from our team.

Even if you ask us to enter through an electric garage door or a door code, we still require a key in the event of a malfunction with the garage door. But don’t worry – your keys are kept in a lockbox!
We can provide a lockbox for a $20 refundable deposit (or you provide one of your own). It will be installed at the initial meet and greet. You may choose to leave it set up, or take it down and set up as needed for services.
We are not responsible for lockbox failures. If you do not provide a key for the lockbox, you will be responsible for any locksmith charges that may be necessary.
At the end of service, most clients choose to hold onto the lockbox. This allows for future visits without requiring a key pickup. We do not leave keys behind, outside of the lockbox, on the final visit, in the event you are delayed returning home. Additional lockbox set-ups and take-downs will incur a standard visit charge.
If you will no longer need any future services from us, you may return the fully functioning lockbox to receive your $20 deposit back.

We offer in-home pet sitting services, as we firmly believe that pets are happier and healthier when they remain in their familiar surroundings rather than staying in kennels or other boarding facilities. We do not provide boarding or kenneling options. Our pet sitting service focuses on ensuring your pets can comfortably stay in their own environment while you're away.
-
Upon booking our pet sitting services, we'll help maintain the appearance of an occupied home by alternating lights and blinds. Additionally, we'll monitor your thermostat, inspect for water leaks near your washing machine, retrieve packages, collect mail, and bring in newspapers.
-
Our clients appreciate the thorough documentation of their pets' routines in our forms. This not only ensures adherence to pet care instructions but also enables us to tailor our care to each pet's unique requirements.
You only need to complete our form once, or update it if any changes occur in the future. With this information, we'll be well-equipped to deliver professional pet care in your home.
Rest assured, you wouldn't want a pet sitter carrying around notebooks filled with pet care instructions. Our system is efficient, secure, and employs bank-grade encryption.
-
For existing clients who have previously completed an in-home meet-and-greet, we can typically accommodate short-notice requests, depending on our availability. Naturally, the more notice we receive, the better we can serve you. If you are a new client, we necessitate an in-home meet-and-greet prior to commencing services. Kindly allow a minimum of three business days to schedule your meet-and-greet session.
-
All first time clients receive a complimentary meet and greet. If you’d like a sitter to come back out to your house for additional visits prior to service, you can schedule that through your client portal. Our standard 30 minute rate will apply.
-

Your pet's comfort and safety are our top priorities. Our sitters follow a thorough checklist to maintain your pet's routine during each visit. We adhere to the following standards during our visits:
Verify gate security before letting dogs outside.
Supervise outdoor playtime.
Prevent dogs from interacting with other dogs during neighborhood walks for their safety.
Clean muddy paws before letting dogs back inside.
Offer fresh water after walks and outdoor play.
Oversee feeding to prevent choking hazards.
Comply with any special dietary requirements.
Utilize double-leashing for at-risk dogs to ensure their safe return.
Our sitters are certified in Pet First Aid and CPR.
In case of emergencies, we'll transport your pet to a veterinarian. While our preference is to use your preferred vet, we may need to visit the nearest 24-hour emergency vet depending on availability or the nature of the emergency.
We understand that each pet is unique and allow them to guide the level of interaction with our team. If your pet is timid, we'll sit quietly and give them time to become comfortable. We'll never chase your pet around the house.
We'll promptly share any concerns with you. If we're unable to reach you, we'll communicate with your designated emergency contact.
