Springfield is home to quite a few locally owned restaurants and bakeries, and not all of them cater to humans! The bakeries listed make fresh treats and goodies for your furry family members. Most are made for dogs, but some have a few cat-friendly options as well. In addition to making your pets happy, you’ll be supporting local businesses that love your animals almost as much as you do.

Parkview Barkery

Parkview High School’s Barkery was started in 2019 for students in the Functional Skills class. These classes are designed to help students with disabilities gain the skills necessary to join the workforce after graduation. The students bake, decorate, and package all of the treats they sell. Parkview Barkery is a nonprofit, so all proceeds benefit the program. They sell plain or peanut butter flavored treats, and are $5.50 for a bag of 25 treats.
